After living in New York, Jane moved back to California and landed a role on Shameless, playing the character Mandy Milkovich for five episodes. She then was casted in a leading role on Suburgatory. While the show only lasted three seasons before it was cancelled, Jane became solidified as one of the breakout stars of 2011, with Forbes adding her to their "30 Under 30" list.

Following this, Jane landed the starring role in the 2013 remake Evil Dead by Fede Alvarez. She followed that up with a few independent films and in 2016, got a role in another Alvarez horror film, Don't Breathe. She also was cast in the comedy Office Uprising in 2018 and later appeared in The Pretenders, directed by James Franco. For TV, she played Jackie Torrance in Castle Rock and Lisa Donovan on What/If.

Jane currently stars in the new NBC series Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, where she plays a woman who is able to hear the private thoughts of other characters through song.

While the pilot of Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist premiered on Jan. 7, the show will play on a recurring slot starting Feb. 16. We can't wait to see more!
