James Gunn Was Reportedly Offered to Direct New Superman Film
By Kwadar Ray

James Gunn was on his way to becoming one of the more popular movie makers in the world before he ultimately became one of the comic book world's most infamous. But even after the resurfacing of his awful tweets, the director still remained a hot commodity in Hollywood, which is why Warner Bros. snatched Gunn up after Disney fired him.
Gunn has taken on the role of rejuvenating Warner Bros.' DC films, with his first job being to write and direct The Suicide Squad.

But before settling on that project, Gunn was offered multiple different opportunities. One of those opportunities included directing a new Superman movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Instead, however, Gunn was actually more intrigued with the Man of Steel's super-powered dog, Krypto.
But Gunn isn't taking on either the Super-Pets or Superman project, and fans are actually completely fine with that.

But more important than Gunn turning down the opportunity is that it's pretty big news Warner Bros. is actively searching for someone to take on another Man of Steel movie.
