The stars in the Harry Potter universe inevitably had to film some heart-wrenching scenes. All deaths and major injuries involving characters become emotional with the cast and crew growing so close over the course of filming, and this franchise is no exception.

In the last installments of the series, we are forced to say goodbye to many of our favorite characters, between the Battle of Hogwarts and other deadly incidents.

James and Oliver Phelps, who portrayed the Weasley twins Fred and George in the series, opened up about what it was like to prepare to shoot the pivotal scene in the last film where Fred Weasley is killed.

"I spoke to David Yates and Julie Walters about the best way to get that in role," Oliver, who played the grieving twin, recalled to Cosmopolitan UK. "One was just about getting into that emotional state by thinking about loved ones I've lost over the years so you're really in that zone and then just walking straight onto set and doing it."

He went on to add, "So then, I'm already in that emotional state, and this make-up artist comes up to me and literally sprays me with eucalyptus spray which blows in my eyes so then I'm crying for real at that point."

James, however, who portrayed Fred in the series, had a much easier time adjusting. "It was the easiest day of work for me, I just lay there," he joked.

We certainly miss seeing this dynamic duo together on the big screen alongside our other favorite Harry Potter stars.
