Here's Why Jenelle Evans is Posting Sonogram Photos to Instagram

On Tuesday, Jenelle Evans posted a photo on Instagram, insinuating that she might be pregnant. The caption was a pregnant woman and baby emoji with a hashtag "#LinkInBio," while the comments section was disabled, so fans couldn't fully freak out or ask questions. When curious fans (yours truly) clicked the link, however, it led to a sponsored page of celebrity baby announcements.

Evans and her husband, David Eason, are in the midst of a custody battle to regain custody of their children. CPS removed the kids from their North Carolina home after news surfaced that David shot and killed Jenelle's dog, Nugget, for allegedly snapping at their youngest daughter, Ensley. The horrible news also led to Jenelle's termination from Teen Mom 2.

Now that she's been fired from her MTV spot, Evans is forced to make money through different ventures, hence the Instagram clickbait photo. The Teen Mom 2 alum has 2.9 million followers on Instagram, so a social media-based income may work for now, though it's not likely fans will fall for a pregnancy photo dupe again.

Jenelle and David made another court appearance this week while Jace, nine, and Ensley, two, remain with Jenelle's mother, Barbara. Her son, Kaiser, four, is with his father, Nathan Griffith. Some of the court appearances have been heated, between Jenelle and Barbara and between David and Jenelle's exes, as well as with reporters.

Fans have taken to Twitter and Instagram to encourage Jenelle to leave David as they perceive him to be the greatest deterrent to her regaining custody of her children but Jenelle has, for the moment at least, decided to stay with him.
