Here's How the Kardashians Reportedly Accepted Sofia Richie Into the Fam

Family comes in all shapes and sizes, and the Kardashian-Disicks are no exception.

Fans have been intrigued, and at times doubtful, of the relationship between Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian, and now Scott’s girlfriend of nearly two years, Sofia Richie, but it seems that the three have managed to become extremely close.

When 20-year-old Richie and Disick first started dating, Disick and Kardashian’s friends and family had reservations, questioning how the model would handle being in the former couple’s lives, as well as being around their three children.

An insider recently told E! News that the family's reservations have now disappeared, explaining:

“It took a long time for the relationship to be in this place but they have finally accepted her. Everyone understands and sees that Sofia makes Scott happy, and that is important to them. Scott is in an amazing place, and the family doesn't mind her being around anymore. Everything has blown over, and she has become friends with all of them now. It's one big happy family.”

And the happiness shows. Richie has settled right into the Kardashian family, even hanging out on the town with Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and taking vacations with Scott, Kourtney and the kids.

Though it was a battle, it is inspiring to see healthy examples of peaceful co-parenting.
