'Harry Potter' Star Rupert Grint Claims He 'Couldn't Even Really Guess' How Much Money He Has

It’s safe to say the stars of the Harry Potter film series will be set for life financially, but how much are they actually worth? Don’t ask Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in all eight films. He apparently doesn’t have any idea how much money he has.
Last time we checked, Grint was the fifth most wealthy Harry Potter star, with a net worth of $50 million. This follows Kenneth Branagh’s $60 million, Emma Watson’s $80 million, Robert Pattinson’s $100 million, and Daniel Radcliffe’s $110 million. While he comes in last in this group, Grint still has an impressive fortune.
But in a recent interview with The Radio Times, Grint said he doesn’t even know the ballpark of his finances. "I actually don't know how much I have. I couldn't even really guess,” the 30-year-old actor said. “It doesn't really motivate me too much. It makes you comfortable, that's the good thing about it, I think.”
"I'm glad it's there but I'm not really that focused on it,” he added. Must be nice.
Since his Harry Potter days, Grint has gone on to appear in several shows and films, and now stars in the TV series Snatch based on the Guy Ritchie film of the same name. It seems clear the actor is doing well financially as he has continued his acting career, but it’s still rather peculiar to us that he's in the dark on just how much money he has. Ignorance is bliss, we suppose.
