'Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe Calls Out Tom Brady for MAGA Support as He Talks Super Bowl

Most Brits couldn’t care less about American Football, but Daniel Radcliffe isn’t like most of the British population. The 29-year-old Harry Potter star is actually obsessed with the sport, even revealing once that he was a part of two fantasy football leagues.

In a recent interview, the actor said that although he doesn’t think Tom Brady should retire, he believes the 41-year-old football player should definitely “stop winning things.”

On the topic of things Brady should do, Radcliffe quipped that the quarterback should “take that MAGA hat out [his] locker,” referring to the Sept. 2015 video in which a Make America Great Again hat was spotted in Brady’s locker.

“I feel like that was the moment when we were like, as a country, ‘Oh, c’mon, dude, we all want to be behind you, you’re awesome, don’t put that in there,'” Radcliffe said.

The actor also revealed he won’t be rooting for Brady in Super Bowl LIII. “The whole world is rooting against the Patriots,” Radcliffe said, after stating he’ll be cheering on the Rams during the Feb. 3 game. “I don’t think they’re going to win, but I want them to."

Whether or not the whole world will actually be rooting against Tom Brady and the Patriots this Super Bowl, we know who Radcliffe will be supporting during the big game.
