Hannah Brown has come a long way since she first stepped out of the limo on Season 23 of The Bachelor. Back then, she wasn’t earning a single cent from the ABC franchise. In fact, she was probably losing money, since contestants foot the bill for clothes, makeup, and all the other stuff that goes into making a great first impression.

Luckily for Hannah, that initial investment paid off in a big way. Her success is reflected by her net worth: an incredible $1.5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

How Does Hannah Brown Make Money?

Hannah was doing pretty well for herself even before she was catapulted to reality TV fame. She won the Miss Alabama pageant in 2018, walking away with up to $100,000 cash. She also held down a regular job as an interior designer, though we don’t know how much that paid.

The real money started rolling in after she was chosen to be the Season 15 Bachelorette. It’s almost certain that she signed on for at least $100,000. That’s probably lowballing it, though. Emily Maynard apparently got $250,000, and we’re guessing that Hannah’s popularity gave her some serious negotiating leverage.

Her earnings don’t stop there. After The Bachelorette, she went on to win Dancing With the Stars, raking in some hefty prize money—around $345,000, according to TV Insider.

On top of all that, Hannah’s Instagram game is strong, which is great news for her bank account. There is a lot of money to be made from sponsored content. AT&T Savings estimates that Hannah gets somewhere between $5,260 and $8,767 per sponsored Instagram post. According to Refinery29, Bachelor megastars like her can earn up to $1 million a year from promotional content.

So sure, Hannah didn’t leave The Bachelorette with a husband. We think $1.5 million is a pretty good consolation prize.
