Hair Brand Apologizes After Sharing 'Racist' Meme About Jordyn Woods

After the whole Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson ordeal, the memes about the pair and all involved have been endless. Between the NBA player's consistent cheating, to Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner likely unfriending Jordyn, people online have found many things to poke fun at. But one joke might've gone too far, as some are deeming it racist.
Beauty brand Bellami Hair took to Instagram to share a meme about Jordyn's new hair, which she debuted after all the drama occurred. Her hairstyle is now way shorter than previously, so the brand made the joke, "When Kylie Jenner stops paying for your lifestyle, including your hair extensions," along with the photo. They added in their caption, "Bad hair is just one betrayal away."

People immediately started slamming the company, writing on social that it was "actually disgusting." According to Yahoo!, people also called the post racist, with one claiming, "They feel comfortable doing this because she’s a [black woman], and it’s exhausting."
Bellami has since taken down the post and apologized. "We would like to sincerely apologize to Jordyn Woods and our followers and for the social media post that was shared on our platform yesterday that may of offended anyone either directly or indirectly," they began in a lengthy caption.
Jordyn has not publicly responded.
