Hailey Baldwin Asked Dad Stephen if She Should Take Justin Bieber's Last Name

It's been official since she changed her name on Instagram late last year. Hailey Baldwin is now Hailey Bieber. She and Justin Bieber got married in September, but were playing coy on it for a few months. Now, both parties are fully open about their marriage, and have even spoken to a few outlets about it.

In a recent interview with Bustle, Hailey said of changing her last name, "It took some getting used to, for sure. It's definitely strange, it takes adjusting."

Hailey also said that even though her name is different now, she will always be a Baldwin, which is something she's happy about. "I'm very proud of my family name," she stated. "I come from a great family with a history in this industry."

And who in that famous family did she consult about the name change? Her father, Stephen, of course. "I remember when I was going to change it, I asked my dad if he was going to be upset and he was like, 'No! I don't care. We love you. All good, everyone still knows you're a Baldwin,'" she said. "It's true!"

So far, married life has been going well for the couple, but not without its struggles, as Justin is reportedly seeking treatment for depression. Luckily for him, Hailey is extra supportive and loving during this time.
