Girl Scout Uses Photos of Jason Momoa in Aquaman to Sell Cookies

Aquaman star Jason Momoa has been turned into a cookie, and not just any cookie, one of the top-selling Girl Scout cookies, Samoas.

See the connection? Samoa, Momoa? Well, one Girl Scout from Colorado did and she found that when she put printed photos of Momoa on the Samoas boxes, she sold tons.

Samoas are now even more popular thanks to Charlotte Holmberg, a Girl Scout in fifth grade from Colorado, who is her troop's Top Cookie CEO -- AKA someone who sells the most cookies.

It all started when Charlotte's mother saw a meme comparing the words "Samoa" and "Momoa", referring to Jason Momoa. Charlotte was inspired and started to make new packaging for the famous cookie. On the classic purple background is a picture of Momoa shirtless and they renamed the cookies "Momoas".

After Charlotte and her mother were done, they promoted their work on social media. The reactions were great.

"The moms are getting really excited and they're saying that they need them!" Charlotte told Denver's 9News. "The girls will wanna buy some because he's on the front. And the boys will also wanna buy some because he's like, he might be like their favorite character."

While some fans are ordering truck loads of the cookies, others wonder if promoting a shirtless man on a box of Girl Scout cookies is appropriate.

No word yet from Momoa, but knowing his sense of humor, he'd probably find it funny.
