'Game of Thrones' Stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams Tried to Sneak in Kisses Into Scenes

Arya and Sansa Stark may portray sisters by blood only on-screen, but you couldn't tell the difference between the girls' relationship off-screen if you tried.
Sophie Turner, 23, and Maisie Williams, 21, play Sansa and Arya respectively in HBO's hit series Game of Thrones. The girls have a close bond, and seeing as how they have been working together since 2011, it does not come as a surprise that the British actresses have grown to be best friends over the years.
Turner and Williams even admit to playing some pranks on their coworkers when filming.
“Even though we are sisters [in Game of Thrones], we tried to sneak a kiss into every scene we did together to freak everyone out a bit," Turner told Glamour UK about the girls' antics. "It kept them on their toes making sure they were following the script."

In addition to the playful on-screen teases, the besties also have matching tattoos bearing the day that they were both cast in their respective roles for the show.
“With Thrones, we were always planning since season one, if we make it all the way through we can get like a matching wolf or something,” the Sucker music video star said. “We don’t know if we’re going to make it, so Maisie and I were like let’s get these ones before somebody kills us or something.”
Not a surprising fear to have, given how often characters get killed off on GoT.
We love this adorable BFF duo, and can't wait to see them on our screens again when Game of Thrones returns on April 14.
