'Game of Thrones' Star Reveals Producers Are 'Paranoid' Over Final Season Spoilers
By Kwadar Ray

No season in recent TV history has garnered more hype and anticipation than the final season of Game of Thrones.
We've gotten a bit of details so far about what to expect from the new season, such as the fact that it will have a mix of devastating and intimate scenes.
However, most of the details have been incredibly vague, and that's the way HBO wants to keep it. GoT star Iain Glen revealed in an interview with BBC Radio that the show's producers have gone to extreme lengths to ensure that no leaks of Season 8 comes out.
"They're absolutely paranoid now about anyone finding out anything about the series and spoiling it," Glen said.
"We weren't allowed a written word on a page," he continued. "Everything was accessed through iPads with different security you had to get through to access it, which caused a problem for the actors, I have to say."
Glen's words reflect what director David Nutter recently said when he stated that the security on set was "like the Gestapo."
Game of Thrones' security on set was increased to the highest level for Season 8, to keep any secrets sealed shut.https://t.co/A2qasWZkNW pic.twitter.com/YHHntj3Q7g

It may seem like HBO and the show's producers are being a bit overzealous, but when you consider how much is banking on this season to be a major success, it's understandable why by any means necessary, they're avoiding leaks.
