The rumor mill has interesting news for Game of Thrones fans which should certainly be taken with a grain of salt. According to We Got This Covered, there's a chance a GoT miniseries could be hitting TVs sooner or later.

As the site reports, HBO is allegedly looking to churn out a miniseries that would serve as a sequel to the original script. Additionally, they claim that the network is looking for both Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) to take part. The report also drops some intel on what the script could entail. As fans know, the Mother of Dragons died in the series finale, so the sequel would "seemingly involve Dany coming back to life somehow." Hm.

Of course, none of this is confirmed, so fans shouldn't get their hopes up. They can, on the other hand, look forward to the official Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, which unfortunately does not have a release date yet. To read everything we know about the new show, click here.

In the meantime, we'll keep you posted on any new developments with the rumored sequel. Game of Thrones is missed big time by fans since going off air, but a spinoff would be the next best thing!
