'Game of Thrones' Fan Asks if Daenerys' Dragons Will Abandon Her for Jon

Since Game of Thrones fans found out that Jon Snow was in fact a Targaryen at the end of season 7, there has been a lot of speculation about what will happen when he finds out his true parentage. In the recent season premiere, he finally learned about the shocking truth, but fans are still trying to figure out what he will do with this new knowledge.

No one knows what will happen once the truth gets out. Will Daenerys be angry or will she bend the knee to the rightful heir? Will Jon work his way to the Iron Throne or give it up. One fan on Reddit thinks that at the very least, Daenerys' dragons will turn against her and side with Jon instead.

We saw in the season premiere, "Winterfell", that Jon was able to ride one of the dragons, which of course only Targaryen's can do. The dragon seems to take a liking to him, so this has convinced fans that the dragons will soon betray their mother and serve Jon instead.

"I also think this will drive Daenerys mad with jealousy and that could be a catalyst for already building tension based on a reveal of who Snow really is." the Reddit user u/saml23 explained.

When Daenerys finds out that Jon is the rightful heir, there's bound to be some jealousy and hard feelings. If the dragons abandon her, she will be left with nothing. Who knows what will happen then.
