Richard Madden is ready for his next project.

Casting for the new film Marvel's The Eternals has begun and so far there's been no disappointment. Game of Thrones alum Richard Madden has just reportedly been tapped, and he isn't the only big star to join.

According to report from The Wrap, Madden will star alongside previously-announced Angelina Jolie, along with Kumail Nanjiani. The 32-year-old actor's role in the series has been confirmed by Variety as the character Ikaris, arguably the most well-known of the Eternals.

Madden struck fame when he started playing Robb Stark in Game of Thrones, but was killed off at the Red Wedding by Season 3. He then moved on to star in BBC's Bodyguard, which earned him a Golden Globe. The next project on Madden's agenda will be in this summer's Elton John biopic, Rocketman.

The Eternals is just starting production so a release date is still pending, but a 2020 release date could be possible.
