This article contains spoilers for ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8.

There was a lot to digest in the finale episode of Game of Thrones, from the death of Daenerys Targaryen to Bran’s assumption of the throne. But there was one moment that was so subtle that few processed it--until they learned about it later and it blew their minds: the reappearance of Robin Arryn as a well, pretty good looking guy. This week, Lino Facioli, who portrayed Robin, spoke out on the deluge of online responses to his glow-up.

In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Facioli responded with bemused appreciation to all of the tweets. “Honestly, I just kind of laugh and sort of just act as humble as possible,” he said. “I never know how to react with compliments. I love them but it’s always like, how do you react? I really don’t know what to do but I’m enjoying it, I really am.”

Viewers last saw Robin when he was a pale, sickly young boy still breastfeeding from his mother. Now, he appears to be the most eligible young bachelor in the Six (formerly Seven) Kingdoms. Along with this change came an outpouring of remarks, ranging from memes to blatant thirst tweets--and a surge in social media follows for Facioli.

“There were all these people talking to me and thousands of people just commenting about me and the memes had gone up,” he said. “I really couldn’t comprehend what was going on and I still can’t. I’m just enjoying the ride.”

As divisive as the final episode of Game of Thrones was, now we know one thing for sure: staying out of the spotlight is how you thrive in Westeros. We aren’t sure when we see Facioli again, so for now, we think we’ll revisit the young Robin Arryn, content with the knowledge of who he becomes.
