While many Game of Thrones actors accepted the fates of their characters with humility (and probably a tinge of sadness), Pilou Asbæk, who played bad boy of the sea, Euron Greyjoy, doesn't seem to be one of them.

NME reports that the 37-year-old actor won an award at Esquire Spain’s Men Of The Year ceremony in Madrid. During his speech, the Overlord star revealed that he was not pleased with how it ended for Euron, enough so that he reached out to GoT creator George R.R. Martin himself to campaign for an alternate ending for Theon's crazy uncle in the upcoming books.

He directed his speech towards his co-star, Lena Headey, who played Cersei Lannister in the HBO series, reportedly stating:

“I’m in Madrid to receive another award for that delicious romantic comedy we starred in, lovely memories. I’ve texted George R.R. Martin suggesting him to change that Golden Company s**t for those golden rings...The books should end with our wedding, saying yes over two marvelous elephants, ideally. George seems not to be online. Would you mind phoning him?”

Of course, the Danish actor couldn’t address Cersei without also having a few words for Jaime Lannister, Cersei’s twin brother and lover, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. He reportedly called the actor out as well, saying, “You need to clarify in public [that] I was the one who killed you, not the f**king brick. Please, seriously, come on. Confirm it on Twitter, or in your next interview, I don’t give a s**t.”

Needless to say from the boldness of this acceptance speech, the GoT showrunners definitely casted the right guy for Euron!
