The highly anticipated, long-delayed release date of HBO's Friends: The Reunion special has finally been revealed as Thursday, May 27 - and here at floor8.com, we couldn't BE more excited!

Friends: The Reunion will now debut on the one year anniversary of the launch of HBO Max and exactly one year after it was originally supposed to air.

HBO Max announced that we will be reunited with the cast of the iconic New York City sitcom, which aired its last episode in May 2004, with a sneak peek of the reunion to their Instagram. The six famous castmates - Jennifer Aniston, 52, Courteney Cox, 56, Lisa Kudrow, 57, Matthew Perry, 51, Matt LeBlanc, 53, and David Schwimmer, 54 - were seen in the preview from the back walking arm in arm, just like their famous pic above, on a studio lot with the theme song I'll Be There For You playing over the top.

In the official press release by WarnerMedia, it was revealed that the Friends stars "return to the iconic comedy’s original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank for a real-life unscripted celebration of the beloved show."

But the original six aren't the only one's who'll be dropping by Central Perk, according to reports there are multiple A-listers set to appear on the reunion, including Justin Biber who's reportedly filmed a hilarious cameo for the special.
