First trailer for Ryan Reynolds and Marvel stars' Netflix movie 'The Adam Project'

On Thursday, Ryan Reynolds took to his Instagram to share the first look trailer at his upcoming new Netflix movie, The Adam Project. The movie – which will be released on Netflix on March 11– sees Ryan Reynolds reunite with Free Guy director Shawn Levy as he plays time-travelling pilot Adam Reed from the year 2050.

He's ventured into the past to find the woman he loves, Laura (Zoe Saldaña), who has gone missing under mysterious circumstances.

However, when Adam's ship gets damaged, he finds himself back in 2022 and heads to the only place he knows that year: his home. There he meets his 12-year-old self (Walker Scobell) and the two team up to continue the search for Laura.

Their journey takes them further back into the past though where they both meet their late father (Mark Ruffalo), the scientist whose work helped pave the way to time travel in the future.
