First Trailer for DC Universe Series 'Swamp Thing' is Here

The trailer for DC Universe's new series Swamp Thing has just dropped and it looks like it combines executive producer James Wan's two favorite things: horror and superheroes. Based on this first preview, the show looks just as terrifying as Wan's The Conjuring, while incorporating comic book elements and alien creatures into the mix.
The trailer has introduced characters such as Abby Arcane, played by Crystal Reed, and of course a couple glimpses of the the Swamp Thing creature, played by Derek Mears.
The Wrap reports that the series will have around 10 episodes instead of the 13 initially reported, and it will premiere on May 31.
Andy Bean will play Alec Holland, the Swamp Thing's human alter ego. So far the cast also consists of Maria Sten, Jeryl Prescott, Henderson Wade, Kevin Durand, Will Patton, Virginia Madsen and Ian Ziering.
The series will follow Arcane as she investigates what appears to be a swamp-born virus in Louisiana. But what she finds is something completely out of this world, as the monster terrorizes anyone who dares come near the swamp.
