Female Prison Officer Accused of Having Four-Month Fling With Inmate at HM Prison Berwyn

A 27-year-old prison officer from Johnstown, Wrexham was just ordered to appear in court after she was accused of having a relationship with an inmate.

According to the Mirror, Ayshea Gunn was accused of misconduct with an inmate at HM Prison Berwyn in Wrexham. The alleged inappropriate behavior is said to have taken place between July 31, 2018 and Nov. 20, 2018. She has reportedly entered a no formal plea. She was provided bail and is set to appear at the Mold Crown Court on Dec. 23.
