Fans Spot Water Bottle Sitting on the Ground in Key 'Game of Thrones' Scene [SPOILERS]

This story includes spoilers for 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Episode 6, "The Iron Throne."

With one episode of Game of Thrones remaining, fans were finalizing their boldest predictions, betting money on who would sit on the Iron Throne, and crossing their fingers that their favorite character would survive ahead of last night’s finale. We’re sure no one was speculating about what other production error the episode could provide, but of course, another mistake was quickly discovered by fans watching. Instead of analyzing every word from each character ahead of Bran Stark being chosen as king, many were distracted by the fact that a plastic water bottle was fully in the shot.

Fans quickly took to social media, of course, to share their findings, which saw the bottle right beside Sam Tarly’s feet during the key council meeting.

At this point, a mistake like this isn’t entirely surprising. Many will remember that unfortunately in the episode “The Last of the Starks” from this season, a modern day coffee cup could be seen sitting in front of Daenerys Targaryen. As fans were extremely shocked something so major wasn’t noticed by anyone from production, HBO later released a statement to apologize for the mess up.

Some are happy to see the end of Game of Thrones for the sole reason that they won’t have to endure writing they don’t agree with any longer, but we’re just happy there won’t be any more opportunities for huge mistakes like this.
