Fandango Survey Says 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' is the Most Anticipated Film of the Summer

Although Avengers: Endgame seems like the perfect movie to close out Marvel's Phase 3 and wrap up most of our favorite superheroes' storylines, there is still one more film that will conclude the MCU era: Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Yahoo! reports that in Fandango's recent survey, it's named the Spider-Man sequel the most anticipated film this summer. But it has a lot to live up to as Endgame continues to break box office records.

Fandango reportedly did a poll on more than 2,000 moviegoers to find out "what fans are most excited to spend their money on at the box office from Memorial Day to Labor Day."

Following Spider-Man: Far From Home, Rocketman came in second, then Godzilla: King of the MonstersDark Phoenix, The Lion King, Toy Story 4Men in Black: InternationalFast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & ShawAladdin, and finally The Secret Life of Pets 2.

Zendaya, who will play MJ in the sequel, secured the top spot in another survey, "Most Anticipated Actress." Tom Holland and Jack Gyllenhaal came in at the third and fifth spots respectively on "Most Anticipated Actor."

Spider-Man: Far From Home follows Peter Parker and his friends as they travel Europe, going to spots like London, Prague, and Venice, but not without taking out some villains in the process.

The MCU film swings into theaters on July 2.
