Everything We Know About Kim Kardashian's New Kimono Shapewear Line

Just days after launching a body foundation, Kim Kardashian has a new line on the market: Kimono. The line offers an assortment of shapewear, and the reality star took to Instagram today to explain what the project was all about.

Kim said: "Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year. I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years.
Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work."

She also explained why she developed Kimono in the first place: "I would always cut up my shapewear to make my own styles, and there have also been so many times I couldn’t find a shapeware [sic] color that blended with my skin tone so we needed a solution for all of this."

Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year. I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years. Kimono offers products for sizes from XXS-4XL and comes in nine shades. The website explains more about the philosophy behind the products, stating:

"Kimono is a new, solution focused approach to shape enhancing underwear, created by Kim Kardashian West. Kimono is the culmination of Kim’s personal experience with shapewear and is fueled by her passion to create truly considered and highly technical solutions for every body. Whether the desire is to enhance, smooth, lift or sculpt, Kimono provides superior options for all shapes and tones."

Kim also shared via Twitter that Kanye West got involved by designing the logo.

While there isn't an official launch date yet, according to ELLE, you can go to the website to sign up for updates. Information about prices is also forthcoming.
