Women-led superhero movies seem to be taking over the superhero franchises, and with a vengeance. With Wonder Woman starting the trend, and now Captain Marvel riding in, it seems like a good jumping off point for more women to appear in their own superhero movies, including Black Widow.

Reports are now saying that Emma Watson is at the top of the list of co-stars for a Scarlett Johansson-lead Black Widow film. It's about time Natasha got her own movie after being loyal in all of the Avengers films.

The script is already in the works as well, and the director, also making records as the first solo female director in the MCU, will be Cate Shortland. But that's about all the news we have on the movie so far, apart from the fact that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige debunked rumors it would be rated R.

According to The Hashtag Show, though, reports are saying that Watson might be cast for a role described as a "kick ass female Bond." There are a handful of other actresses who have auditioned for the role as well, but ultimately no decision has been made yet, reportedly.

This would be the first time audiences would get to see the Harry Potter actress in a superhero role. It would kind of be interesting, no?
