Kylie Jenner is doing her part amid the Coronavirus pandemic. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star donated a whopping $1 million to buy face masks and other protective gear for healthcare professionals risking their lives to help those affected by the illness.

However, some are questioning if that amount is enough given Kylie's billionaire wealth status. While the makeup mogul's heart is definitely in the right place, one person on Twitter put that amount into perspective, and started a full-on debate on the platform.

"Kylie Jenner donated $1 million to coronavirus relief. That's a lot of money! But it's easy to forget how much the super rich are actually sacrificing. Her net worth $1 BILLION. The average millennial net worth is $8k. It's like us donating $8," Twitter user @mannyfidel wrote.

Though Kylie does have a ton of money, many people were quick to come to her defense. "No it's not. $8 is not $1m," one person replied. Another wrote, "She doesn't have to donate a dime
2. She's entitled to all her money, you're not." A third replied, "No, it's not a lot for her. And I'm not predisposed to defending the Kardashian/Jenner family at all. But good for her donating 1 million dollars. It may be like $8 for regular folks. But plenty regular folks ain't even donated $8 in the first place."

The original poster replied to the feedback, tweeting, "$1 million is a ton of money and will help a lot, but I think it's important to note that the rich could be doing a lot more. A lot of us on the other hand might literally need to hold on to that $8. 3 million people signed up for unemployment benefits JUST last week."

At the end of the day, it's definitely a positive thing to see Kylie, and a handful of other stars, give back during this devastating time. The lip kit queen has been incredibly successful with her beauty brand, and she's clearly ready to give back when the time calls.
