DC's 'Swamp Thing' Earns Positive Early Rotten Tomatoes Score

If you're trying to find something new to watch, you might want to get ready for DC's Swamp Thing--premiering on May 31--because it's just received a "Certified Fresh" stamp of approval from reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes.

While the series is not out yet, critics are already raving about the superhero- horror series, according to CBR. The DC Universe show now has 92% positive reviews, and 12 reviews that praise its special effects.

Swamp Thing will follow Abby Arcane, played by Crystal Reed, as she investigates a swamp-born virus in Louisiana. The series includes 10 episodes, with James Wan as the executive producer.

The new thriller is now the fourth DC show to receive high praise from Rotten Tomatoes. Titans and Doom Patrol  received 74% and 95% positive reviews for their first seasons, respectively, and the animated series Young Justice: Outsiders, received 94% positive reviews.

Joining Crystal Reed in Swamp Thing are actors Andy Bean, Derek Mears, Jennifer Beals, Henderson Wade, Will Patton, Virginia Madsen, Jeryl Prescott, Henderson Wade and Kevin Durand.
