Although filming for the highly-anticipated Friends reunion special was put on hold due to coronavirus safety concerns, it was announced last month that production on the special, which is set to film on the original Friends soundstage on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, CA, will likely proceed before the summer is over. The reunion will be an unscripted celebration of the beloved sitcom.

David Schwimmer, who portrayed everyone's favorite paleontologist Ross Geller, is excited to reunite with his former cast mates. While promoting his new comedy series Intelligence alongside co-star Nick Mohammed, Schwimmer revealed to E! News that he can't wait to get the Friends gang back together.

"I guess what I'm honestly most looking forward to is just being in the room with those other five actors. It's five, right?" he said, clarifying, "That was a joke." The actor continued, "But being on the actual sounds stage on the actual set for the first time in 10 years, the set that we shot on for 10 years, that to me is going to be a really meaningful experience."

It's going to be amazing to watch the reunion special when it finally comes out! Seeing the cast back together will definitely be worth the wait.
