It's no surprise that both Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018) were both hits amongst Marvel fans. And even people without comic book knowledge could appreciate the hilarious films, featuring the titular character which it seems Ryan Reynolds was born for. So now, many are desperate for information about a potential third outing.

When asked at the premiere of Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, director David Leitch, who also directed Deadpool 2, says he hasn't heard anything about a third film, but is hoping it happens. According to ComicBookMovie, he explained:

"In everybody's world, everybody wants to make it. So, if I was ever approached to make Deadpool 3, my answer would be, 'Hell yes,' but I think there's a lot of things going on in the shake up with Fox and Disney and where that whole Marvel world after Endgame is gonna be. When the dust settles, let's hope that Deadpool lives. That's kind of ironic, right?"

While the Disney/Fox deal has put things on hold, hopefully the fact that Deadpool 2 was such a success, both from fans and critics, will get a third film in motion.
