David Eason Calls for Dr. Drew to Be Fired From MTV After His Controversial Coronavirus Comments

It's been a while since David Eason filmed with Teen Mom after being fired by MTV, but fans of the reality show definitely haven't heard the last of him. The controversial husband of Jenelle Evans took to his Instagram Story this week to demand that the network fire Dr. Drew for his recent comments about COVID-19.
If you missed Dr. Drew's comments about the virus, they were pretty controversial. He caught flack for downplaying the seriousness of it on TV, comparing it to your typical flu.
After extensive backlash, Drew has since apologized. “My early comments about equating Coronavirus with influenza were wrong,” he said in a video. “They were incorrect. I was part of a chorus that was saying that, and we were wrong. And I want to apologize for that. I wish I had gotten it right, but I got it wrong.”
Dr. Drew is a snake oil salesman. Really terrible stuff here. What a disgrace. pic.twitter.com/Eh35Ky8yVO

But the apology wasn't enough for David, who then called for him to be kicked to the curb by the channels he works for.
"MTV. Viacom, CBS should fire Dr. Drew for denying the Covid-19 virus and causing millions of people to become infected after they believed him!!" Eason wrote in an Instagram post, as reported by The Ashley.
Dr. Drew nor MTV have responded to David, and chances are they won't. Fans will know that David was fired in 2018 after he shared homophobic messages online. Seeing as Dr. Drew has been a longtime fan-favorite with MTV, he's likely not going anywhere anytime soon.
