'Daredevil's Deborah Ann Woll Says Chances of Show Coming Back Are 'Slim'

Even as Marvel began its exit from Netflix, fans thought that at least Daredevil would be safe, considering its popularity and continued fan support. But as of now all of Marvel's series on the streaming service are dead.
It was like watching dominos fall, as each of Marvel's Netflix shows was cancelled one by one. Now fans have a better idea why, however, as it wasn't because the shows were unpopular or had low ratings. It was more than likely because Disney is releasing their own streaming service. Since the announcement of Disney+, fans have started to speculate whether or not the Netflix shows would be brought back on the new streaming service, but Daredevil actress Deborah Ann Woll isn't getting her hopes up.
Woll, who played Karen Page in Daredevil, The Punisher and The Defenders, said she's convinced there will be no revivals.
"They're going to put their energy into something else and I'm going to start focusing on doing that as well," Woll told ComicBookMovie.com. "I've heard absolutely nothing about resurrecting it in any way and I think the chances of that are pretty slim."
Fans weren't the only ones that were surprised by the cancellations, as so were the cast and even the creators.
"I was sad when it happened," Woll continued. "More because I just didn't know it was coming. Normally, you'd say goodbye and get people's email addresses and you'd maybe steal something from the set, but because we had a really strong final season, we were all pretty sure we were coming back, but then we saw Luke Cage and Iron Fist go, we started to think maybe it was 50/50 and then when they let us go, I thought, 'Oh, they're going in another direction.'"
Disney+ premieres this November, and seems to be focusing on series about other Marvel characters from the MCU at the moment, such as Loki and Hawkeye, instead of lesser known characters like the Punisher and Daredevil.
