Crazy just got crazier.

In case you missed it, Justin Bieber took to Twitter earlier this month to challenge Tom Cruise to a fight. People of course found this hilarious, and it spawned memes for days. Even Bieber admitted afterwards that it was a joke, but the damage was done. The idea has already caught some serious momentum.

Dana White, who Bieber called on to host the fight via his tweet, told TMZ this week that he received calls from friends connected to the superstars and, apparently, everyone is into it. He explained, "I told them that if that's true -- and everybody involved really wants to do it -- we can talk."

White says he'd "be an idiot not to make this fight happen" if both parties are interested. The age difference between the two stars is one issue, however, with Bieber only 25 and Cruise 56. The height difference isn't so drastic, though. Bieber stands at 5'9" and Cruise is 5'7".

While the whole thing might seem ridiculous (it kind of is), Bieber has apparently trained with his buddy, Floyd Mayweather, who says that the singer has enough talent to be "a pro boxer." Cruise himself has a tough reputation as one of the few Hollywood stars who does all of his own stunts and was wrestler in high school, as reported by TMZ.

Even Conor McGregor has jumped in, as TMZ previously reported, saying he'll host the fight if Tom has "the sprouts to fight, like he does in the movies."

Nothing further has been finalized but, amazingly, it looks like the fight is becoming a possibility. Now Bieber and Cruise just have to accept!
