Chris Lopez Arrested for Reportedly Violating Kailyn Lowry's Restraining Order

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is having some serious baby daddy drama these days. The MTV star’s ex-boyfriend and third baby daddy, Chris Lopez, was put behind bars this week for allegedly violating a domestic violence restraining order Kail issued against him in fall 2019, The Ashley reports. He has since been released on bail.

Lux’s father was allegedly arrested twice a few months ago with reports claiming at least one of them was for violence against the MTV personality. Since then, he has been commanded to stay away from his ex-girlfriend and his two-year-old son until his trial, which was originally set for Jan. 21 before he violated the order. His new court date is now Mar. 9.

This isn’t the only drama happening between Chris and Kail. Earlier this month, news broke that the mom-of-three might be pregnant again with Chris’ child after his aunt leaked alleged sonogram pictures that were supposedly sent from Kail. The reality star has yet to confirm or deny the pregnancy, but Chris did address the rumors this week on his Instagram Story, saying, “Nobody is pregnant. I don’t know about these rumors you all are hearing about.”

While he could obviously be telling the truth, we might need to take his statement with a grain of salt, as Chris doesn’t seem super stable as of late. Back in December, Kail revealed on her Coffee Convos podcast that Chris had been absent from her and their son’s lives, saying, “There’s no co-parenting right now. Right now, he is just working and going to therapy as far as I know. Working on himself.”

Hopefully everything gets sorted between the two soon, especially if there is another baby on the way.
