Quarantine has taught me that everyone has flaws, even Captain America. Just like the rest of us, Marvel actor Chris Evans loves his dog. Evans adopted Dodger from an animal shelter in 2015 while he was filming the movie Gifted and the two have been best buddies ever since. Speaking to People about his dog in 2017, the actor showered Dodger with compliments. "He acts like a puppy, he’s got the energy of a puppy, he’s just such a sweetheart, he’s such a good boy," Evans said.

How cute is that!? However, with salons and groomers all across the country closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Chris decided to give his furry friend a haircut and it didn't exactly go as planned. "I assured him I knew what I was doing," the Marvel actor captioned the photo on Twitter. "He seemed skeptical at first, but with the help of a few treats, I talked him into it." It seems like things went downhill from there, as the accompanying picture shows Dodger with uneven chunks of his fur shaved.

Watch Evans kick butt as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a subscription to Disney+ here.

"It went so wrong, so fast. I guess some things are better left to the professionals. (He hasn’t seen a mirror yet. I told him it looks great)," Evans also said of the experience. No worries, Dodger, it'll grow back! Evans also posted the photo to his new Instagram account, where he will hopefully post more adorable photos of his pup!
