Charles Melton Might've Just Gotten a Tattoo for Camila Mendes

Riverdale's hottest new onscreen couple has also been an off-screen couple for a little longer--and it looks like they just took things to the next level.

There's no ring involved, but something much more permanent is. Camila Mendes shared a snap over the weekend of what appears to be a tattoo dedicated to her from beau Charles Melton. The Riverdale couple started dating back in October--is it too soon, or a joke altogether?

The couple had been at Melton's premiere for new movie Bad Boys For Life--which forced fans to ask if the tattoo was even real.

The pair became an item back in Oct. 2018, when Mendes posted an Instagram picture with the simple caption "mine."

However, the onscreen action between the stars didn't start until much later for viewers. In the Jan. 16 episode of Riverdale, Mendes' Veronica Loge and Melton's Reggie Mantle locked lips for the first time.

Ever since, the couple has been melting hearts both on and off screen. But that doesn't mean they are without their critics.

In light of comments that Mendes apparently looked happier with ex-boyfriend Victor Houston than she did with Melton, The New Romantic star decided to reply.

“I still feel silly responding to this but I also feel the impulse to tell you that you’re wrong,” she told the user who left the comment. “I’m happier than I’ve ever been in my life. It’s absurd to tell me that you call yourself a fan, yet your entire page is dedicated to disrespecting my relationship and my boyfriend, both of which you clearly know nothing about.”

"I hope you’re young, because that seems to be the only justification for this kind of immaturity," the star added. We love the actors as a couple, and it was awesome to see Camila stand up for herself! Now about that new tattoo, we're going to need either Cami or Charles confirm if it's real.
