Caitlyn Jenner Accidentally Posts Photo of Kendall Jenner for Kylie Jenner's Birthday

Those of us with siblings know that parents tend to have mix-ups from time to time, usually calling us by each other’s names.

But Caitlyn Jenner mixed her children up a little more publicly than most.

Us Weekly reports that Caitlyn posted on Instagram this weekend, giving her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, some birthday love. The 69-year-old star posted a photo of what she thought was a young Kylie with the caption, “Life was so simple back then, but life is so good today. Happy birthday to my little baby @kyliejenner.”

The only problem: it was a picture of Kylie’s sister, Kendall Jenner.

Caitlyn quickly deleted the post when she realized the mistake, and replaced it with pictures of her with both of her daughters when they were young. I guess that’s an easy way to avoid any mix ups.

Followers quickly called out the error, poking fun at the reality star for posting pics of both girls. One user posted, “Glad you got the right daughter this time, sis.”

Fans that are also parents quickly defended Caitlyn for making the honest mistake. One follower commented, “So cute stop being so hard on [Caitlyn] I have three kids and I always name all of them before I get the right one.”

The 22-year-old makeup mogul celebrated her birthday lavishly this weekend, renting a $250 million mega-yacht off the Italian coast with her boyfriend, Travis Scott, their daughter Stormi, as well as Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, Scott Disick, and Sofia Richie, among other friends.

Though Caitlyn wasn’t at this year’s festivities, I'm sure Kylie will get get a laugh about the totally typical parent mix-up.
