Caelynn Miller-Keyes came close to winning Colton Underwood's heart on The Bachelor, and as it turns out, she also nearly won the title of Bachelorette soon after. Fans will remember that the former pageant queen was eliminated in fourth place on Colton's season, and returned months later for Bachelor in Paradise. And though Caelynn had hoped that she would become the next leading lady of the franchise, her known enemy on The Bachelor, Hannah Brown, was ultimately selected.

Of course, you could imagine Caelynn would be salty that Hannah B. was chosen over her, and the reality star is now speaking up on how she felt. As reported by US Weekly, Caelynn was a guest on Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti's podcast Almost Famous, where she recalled:

"I remember getting the call that it wasn’t me for Bachelorette and I was like, 'Dang! That kind of sucks.' And then I found out it was [Hannah] at Women Tell All, we all kind of knew at Women Tell All that it was her. And it hurt. It definitely hurt."

Caelynn also brought up the fact that she was in the top four on Colton's season, and Hannah B. was in seventh place. "It stung and I was upset and I was kind of led to believe that it was mine and then suddenly it wasn’t. It was Hannah’s," she explained. "Looking back on previous seasons, it’s always been in the top four and then to branch out and to pick Hannah … it just hurt."

As fans know, Caelynn did find her happily ever after thanks to the franchise, leaving Bachelor in Paradise early with Dean Unglert, who competed on Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette. The two lovebirds are still together today, and Caelynn has been updating fans on how their quarantine experience has been on her YouTube channel.

Of course, it was fate that Caelynn didn't end up becoming the Bachelorette, but we can't blame her for feeling some type of way about it initially.
