Britney Spears announces miscarriage of 'miracle baby' with Sam Asghari

Britney Spears celebrated for weeks, after finding out that she was carrying her first child with fiancé Sam Asghari, but on Saturday, May 14, the Toxic singer took to social media to announce the devastating news that she had "lost" their "miracle baby".

Sharing a message as an image, the note signed off by Britney and Sam, began: "It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.."

The note continued: "This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however we were overly excited to share the good news."

Before finishing off on a positive note and asking fans and media for privacy, "Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family.
