After weeks of speculation, mother-of-three Bristol Palin has officially announced she's quitting Teen Mom OG after just one season.

The 28-year-old star joined the MTV series in 2018 following Farrah Abraham being fired. Many fans criticized the move at first, however she was quickly welcomed with open arms, as she proved she could bring an honest, relatable lifestyle to the show. Yet, not all of it was truthful, apparently. Bristol has been very vocal about how she did not like the way she was being portrayed on the reality show.

Bristol took to Instagram last night, and officially confirmed her departure. "teen mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace.. and honestly - my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford," she wrote.

While some fans were quick to ask if it was simply an April Fools' Day joke, others said their goodbyes. Even co-star Maci Bookout commented, "Will definitely miss working with u pretty girl! Definitely still have to get the boys together! Xoxo."

Bristol has slammed MTV on Instagram previously, as she wrote a lengthy message in Dec. 2018, explaining:

"@mtv doesn’t want to talk about faith, show work ethic, or juggling three kids alone, they don’t want to show the humble process of starting over after a divorce, building a career, or any real life issues. All they want with my little segment each week is some fake fill-in Farrah Abraham/Jerry Springer BS, and it’s simply not true.”

We wish Bristol the best and will still be keeping up with her on social!
