Briana DeJesus Faces Backlash After Daughter Stella Poses Happily While Drinking Soda

Living life in the spotlight is no easy feat, and Briana DeJesus knows that all too well. After the Teen Mom 2 star posted a photo of her daughter drinking Coca Cola on May 17, she received major backlash from fans. The adorable photo of little Stella, two, surprisingly received some not-so-nice comments.

Fan Instagram page @TeenMomShadeRoom_ shared the sweet pic, and unfortunately haters sounded off in the comments section. "Heart problem + Coke = Good Idea! Way to go mom!," one person wrote, referencing Stella's history of heart murmurs. "This is a beautiful pic, but the can of coke ruins it. Isn’t this the same child who had/has heart issues and her mom is letting drink coffee and coke? Alright then," another shade-filled comment said.

A third person mom-shamed Briana, saying she should be looking to the future for Stella. "She’s so cute I just wish her mom did better. Starting her off addicted to sugar, that’s going to be really fun to try and fix as she gets older," they wrote.

Earlier this week, Briana posted an adorable video of her daughter taking on a viral candy challenge. The challenge has become popular on Instagram as of recently, where a parent leaves sweets in the room and secretly films their kid to see if they eat it without permission.
