It's been a frightening few months for Teen Mom 2's Briana DeJesus.
In a preview clip for the upcoming episode of Teen Mom 2, DeJesus explained why her one-year-old daughter was undergoing surgery.
“A few days ago I noticed Stella was having trouble moving her arm,” The 24-year-old star explained in the clip. “I took her to the hospital. It turns out she had a serious bacterial infection.” As a result, her daughter underwent emergency surgery.

DeJesus added that the entire ordeal was "a lot" for her and her mother to handle. “She’s doing better now, but she has to stay in the hospital for a few days so they could monitor her," she shared.
“Septic arthritis, the infection is in her joint. She’s on antibiotics. She’ll be on antibiotics for a month or two," DeJesus' mother Roxanne said as she explained her granddaughter's condition to her other daughter, Brittany.
This scare comes not long after baby Stella's other health issues. She also has a heart condition, as Briana explained in Sept. 2017. “She has holes in her heart,” DeJesus said. “It’s been difficult dealing with Stella right now. We just have to monitor her breathing.”
We're keeping the family in our thoughts in this frightening situation.
