Black Widow’s Appearance in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer Might Prove Film Takes Place Over Year Span

There have been many fan theories to come out after the most recent Avengers: Endgame trailer which was released last week. Among them is one that claims there is a clue in the preview that might have been overlooked by many, and it comes from something as simple as Black Widow's hair.

According to Games Spot, we see Black Widow with different hair in almost every scene. At the end of Infinity War, she was already starting to grow her hair out, but some scenes in the Endgame trailers still have her with blonde hair, while others show her hair has grown out with her normal color red, and some feature her with ombré hair.

The site says that since her hair is grown out seemingly over five inches, that signifies that at least over a year has gone by in between the scenes in the first trailer to most recent trailer.

If the rumors are true and Endgame does take place over the span of a year, it will be the first Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to do so, as others have taken place over the span of a couple weeks or months.

So what happens that it takes the remaining Avengers likely over a year to resolve the problems left behind in Infinity War? Hopefully defeating Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
