'Birds of Prey' Film Rumored to Be Part of a Trilogy

It's fair to say Suicide Squad wasn't nearly as good as many DC fans hoped it would be. However, a major redeeming quality of the film was Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

Robbie gave such a great performance and Quinn has become such a fan-favorite that Warner Bros. may make her the central character of her own trilogy, according to a rumor reported by Geeks WorldWide.

Quinn will return in the upcoming film Birds of Prey: (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), where she will be an integral part of the team alongside Black Canary and Huntress. According to the rumor, WB wants the upcoming movie to be the first installment in a three-part story based on Robbie's character.

The second film would be Gotham City Sirens, which is still in development, and it will lead to a third film, Birds of Prey vs Gotham City Sirens. Fans really hope the rumors are more than just speculation and the trilogy actually goes down.

However, there's no confirmation, so it's all just a rumor for now. Though it's important to note it's not the first time a Harley trilogy has been suggested, so these recent rumors aren't coming out of nowhere.
