Benedict Wong Confirms He's in 'Avengers: Endgame'
By Jennifer Fabiano

The fate of Wong in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was has been unknown since Avengers: Infinity War, but actor Benedict Wong confirmed in a recent interview with Collider that his character will be returning in Avengers: Endgame.
The actor discussed that filming for Endgame conflicted with his current role as Master Lin in Deadly Class, admitting that filming even overlapped.
"Yeah, there was a time when I was doing Avengers 4," Wong simply stated.
But Wong explained that since both projects were run by the Russo Brothers, things were a little easier.
"Normally it would be a logistical nightmare with the hair and negotiating that, but it’s great. I’m grateful to be on a double Russo Brothers production. It was streamlined," Wong explained.
"Yeah, it did [help that the Russos were involved with both projects]," Wong said. "They made a very expensive silicon wig [for Wong in Avengers: Endgame] that they glued on because they wanted to keep me with hair more for Lin."
Wong was one of the many characters whose fate was in question as he only appeared in the first act of Infinity War, before he left to guard the Sanctum Sanctorum. The uncertainty sparked a series of memes amongst Marvel fans on the internet.
The 47-year-old actor didn’t outright say that his character survived Thanos’ snap, but fans will be able to see him one way or another when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019.
