'Avengers: Endgame' Theory Suspects Another Reason for Quantum Realm Suits

Besides all the much-needed details the latest Avengers: Endgame trailer gave fans, we also got a glimpse at the new suits our favorite superheroes will don. But the suits are likely not just for show, as the upgrade will probably help them in the fight against Thanos once again. Fan theories have now been speculating what the suits are specifically designed for going into the Quantum Realm.

One fan theory suggests the Quantum Realm suits have another feature we never thought of. According to Redditor TheWakandanKING, the new outfits could be made of Iron Man’s nano-technology, meaning the suits can alter their exteriors and change into any clothes they need. This could be a serious help if the heroes time travel into the past.

The theory also suggests that the nano-technology is the reason some of the cast was seen wearing tracking markers in set photos, for CGI purposes. “The suits would be transforming into those with nanotech, allowing for the heroes to blend into respective time periods,” the Redditor explains.

Wearing gleaming white suits going into the past would obviously make you stand out, so having the technology to change clothes to match the setting would make sense.

But the only downside to the theory is that we don't actually know for sure whether the superheroes travel through the Quantum Realm. What could they be doing in those suits, though? They seem pretty heavy duty, and maybe thick enough to stop any threat Thanos turns their way.

Endgame hits theaters on April 26.
