Avengers: Endgame is expected mark the end of the MCU's Phase 3, but fans hope the film will also spell the beginning of a new journey for many of its characters in Phase 4.
speaking of valkyrie being in avengers endgame, i just remembered that this was included in the thor ragnarok extras so endgame potentially sets her up as an important hero in phase 4 ? pic.twitter.com/udzfHdHHsz

While established characters like Tony Stark may be gone from the MCU after Endgame, the movie provides an opportunity for Marvel to introduce a few new faces into its cinematic universe.
One actress who can potentially become a staple in the MCU's future is 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford. Ever since the actress was announced as part of the cast, we've wondered who what her role in the film will be. One fan believes they have the answer and recently took to social media to share it with everyone.
Reddit user FableArtist, who posted their theory Saturday, believes Langford will take on the role of Moondragon, whose parents were killed in an accident caused by Thanos. The user believes Moondragon must be one of the "special characters to be shown in [Endgame] to build up a new generation to start after Endgame."
For background, Moondragon, also known as Heather Douglas, is a badass and powerful telepathic, telekinetic, skilled martial artist.
Moondragon has a wild history! Started as Madame MacEvil challenging Iron Man! Fought Daredevil as Moondragon! Avenger and enemy of the Avengers! Ties to the Defenders, Quasar, and the Infinity Watch! Created by Everett, Friedrich & Tuska; used well by Starlin. Bald is beautiful! pic.twitter.com/JBjFaxfmHq

So why does the fan believe Langford will take on the role? "Moon Dragon in comics had relation with The Defenders and was a great part in The Infinity Watch Team... so to introduce characters like Iron fist, Daredevil, White Tiger, Power Man, Squirrel Girl, Nova and The Ultimates, her contribution is important," the theorist explains.
The theory explains that Douglas' powers will be vital for Captain Marvel and other characters expected to appear in Endgame.
"[Moondragon] can create new Avengers with the help of the new characters introduced ....Well why she shouldn't be any other character from the examples is because Moondragon helped Captain Marvel in the comics many times," the Redditor continues. "We all know Captain Marvel will be the most powerful character in [Endgame] and Avengers not only need great power but also healing powers which would make them unbeatable."
It would be awesome if Langford could take on the role. Unless Marvel reveals who the star will play before the movie comes out, we won't know until Endgame is theatrically released April 26.
