'Avengers: Endgame' Theory Argues Core Avenger Might Die Early on
By Hannah Wigandt

When Marvel fans ask themselves which Avenger is the safest bet to die in Avengers: Endgame, most automatically think Captain America. There have been many fan theories about the beloved character and they aren't at all good, but could fans be shocked by an early death of the Cap in Endgame? A new theory says we could say goodbye to Steve Rogers right in the beginning of the film.
The theory, written by ComicBook.com, stems from teasers from Endgame where Captain America seems to be fighting Thanos from a raised location, perhaps at the Avengers HQs in New York, the Nova Corps-ruled Xandar, or even the Battle of New York.
Captain America's death could be featured in this scene, which likely comes in the first act of the three-hour movie. This would definitely set the tone for the film, and his death would finally get the rest of the Avengers together and spur them into action against the Mad Titan.
But it won't just be the Captain's life they're going to avenge, it'll be all the other fallen who died from Thanos' snap in Infinity War. And since most fans are sure that the team will eventually use the Quantum Realm, maybe they'll come across a previous Captain America to help them out.
It is an interesting theory and one that could actually happen, sadly, but we won't know for sure until the film premieres on April 26.
