'Avengers: Endgame' Presale Tickets Crash AMC Website
By Hannah Wigandt

Tickets for Avengers: Endgame have gone on sale today and fans are going crazy trying to buy them, but the surge of activity on the AMC Theatres website and other ticket seller sites has resulted in a major crash.
Atom Tickets has reported that the ticket sales' first hour has set a record for the movie ticket app. According to them, Endgame has sold three times more tickets on their site in its first hour of pre-sales than Avengers: Infinity War did last year, also knocking Star Wars: The Last Jedi off the list.
Fandango and AMC are reporting their presales for the movie are resulting in the same malfunction, even crashing their sites due to the heavy traffic. Fans who log on to AMC's site are getting a 503 error code, if it loads anything at all.
But the error codes shouldn't discourage fans from trying again and again until they get on, as it's not like tickets will sell out completely just yet. Many are getting frustrated, understandably, and have taken to Twitter to ask what they should do.
Yo @Fandango this wait your turn thing is cool and all, but it would be nice if the site actually let me select seats and didn't crash when i get through. I was in line ON THE HOUR and OF COURSE it still crashes https://t.co/VP1jmcumn9

@atomtickets Tickets are pending for the second time. First time the order was cancelled because there was an error reserving the tickets. Any idea what's causing this? (It's for a Regal theater) #AvengersEndgametickets pic.twitter.com/MHz7SWUZlg

We're hoping the issue is fixed soon--or else Marvel fans will truly be outraged.
