'Avengers: Endgame' LEGO Set Includes Unexpected Character

A familiar face from the world of Iron Man could potentially be coming back in Avengers: Endgame.

LEGO released a new piece for the upcoming movie featuring Dum-E from 2008's movie centered on the adventures of Tony Stark. Dum-E was a mechanical assistant who Stark used to initially create his iconic suit, and the witty robot went on to make appearances in other Iron Man films as well. After Stark's home was destroyed, he even kept Dum-E's body on a trailer, which allowed for another appearance by the fan favorite in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

As everyone has seen in the trailer, Tony Stark is stuck in space in Avengers: Endgame. This raised a question when the photo of the Dum-E toy was released and the theory formed: who would restore the assistant if not Tony? Some fans theorize that it will be Pepper Potts, Stark's love interest.

Although this does not guarantee an appearance by the robot, these types of toy leaks have been correct in the past, which made fans even more excited upon the sharing of the picture.

Until Endgame is released this April, we'll be anxiously waiting--and holding out some hope for seeing Dum-E again.
